Join us on Thursday, November 19, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. EST, when CEHS launches its new series of online discussions, “Research Strategies in Central European History,” with a session entitled: The Digital Landscape. Moderated by Jonathan Wiesen (University of Alabama-Birmingham), the session begins with presentations from three scholars about valuable and often unknown resource collections available online for historical research on Central Europe, namely by Suzanne Sutherland (Middle Tennessee State University), Heidi Tworek (University of British Colombia) and Sean Wempe (California State University-Bakersfield). A period of discussion and exchange follows these presentations.
This session is open to student- and established scholars at all levels and in all chronological and thematic fields within Central European History. Even historians who regularly rely on digitized materials will likely benefit from hearing about materials others access as part of their research. We invite you to bring your own questions, experiences, and research expertise to the conversation.
