Central European History
Founded in 1968, the society’s journal, Central European History (CEH), is the premier scholarly journal dedicated to central Europe’s complex and diverse history.
CEHS members receive free online access.
Funding & support

In addition to publishing innovative scholarship, CEHS supports research into and teaching about Central Europe’s history through a range of programs and funding opportunities. While certain programs target students and early career scholars and teachers, others are aimed at the broader Central European historical community, both in North America and around the world.
