The Central European History Society and the Society for Italian Historical Studies are delighted to announce an exciting new partnership that will bring our scholarly communities together in meaningful collaboration. Beginning at the upcoming 2027 American Historical Association conference in New Orleans, our two organizations will launch a series of cooperative initiatives designed to foster dialogue, encourage cross-regional perspectives, and create new opportunities for scholars working at the intersections of Italian and Central European history. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to breaking down traditional geographical boundaries in historical scholarship and building stronger connections across our fields.
