From July 17-19, 2025, the University of Vienna and the Institute of Austrian Historical Research will host an inaugural Central European History Convention. The event seeks to create a broad, transatlantic platform for exchange on Central European History from the late medieval period to the mid-20th century, with a focus on the lands of the former Habsburg Empire and its neighbors. The program committee is now seeking submissions for papers from scholars at all career stages for this event. The complete call for papers is available using this link.
